A Tisket a Tasket...

The gorgeous weather yesterday allowed me to get outside for a much needed shoot. I had wanted to begin working on a specific project, but a few of the locations I needed to shoot were under construction and very un-photogenic...unfortunately. Instead, I trotted around town on foot looking for anything that caught my eye. The result - one of the best shoots I've had yet! At least...I was pleased with the results.

An unexpected trip down Southern Illinois to my parents left me feeling a little inspired. Actually, it's not being here that's been inspiring, I think it's a little bit of everything that's going on right now. I'm finding myself coming up with a few ideas for a few photo projects that I'm going to start tackling. I've also had several people asking me to put together a book of my work and publish it. I'm finally listening, people. I need to do something, but it will take a while. Also, I'm finally going to start submitting my stuff to local art galleries and see what happens. Who knows...
But this is some of what came out back home.

Neighborly Fall Foliage

I was walking the dog this afternoon and looking at the wet leaves in the streets and the trees all changing and some even bare bones already and got the urge to run in and grab my camera. This is the first fall I've experienced in 4 years so I felt like capturing it. Voila!
